Meet Colleen

After almost 15 years of marriage, I walked out of divorce court no longer part of a couple. As I navigated the pain of divorce, I felt afraid, overwhelmed and lonely. In addition, I was now a single parent. I not only needed to nurture my own emotional well-being, but also that of my four children.
It was at that moment, standing outside the courthouse, that I felt an inner strength I never knew existed. I decided to regain control over my life. I would not allow my situation, or my emotions as a single mom, to define, hinder and defeat me. I realized I had a choice. Actually, this was an opportunity to reinvent my life!
How did I take advantage of this opportunity? By focusing on personal development after my divorce, I turned my pain into power, security and a sense of direction. Most importantly, I found the strength to make life changing choices and enjoy a more satisfying existence. I made one of the biggest decisions of my life when I renovated and sold my house, moved with my children to a brand new community and bought the house of my dreams. As scared as I was to start over where we didn’t know anyone, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
An unexpected result of my divorce was that I discovered my passion for helping women through their own divorce transitions. I changed my career focus from general coaching to specifically coaching divorced women. As a professionally trained coach, I finally felt like I found my purpose.
My goal is to empower you to turn your pain into power, security and direction after your divorce. I will guide you to be better, not bitter in your life after divorce!
